The Attic

The Attic – Canterbury’s brand new LIVE music venue.

With a 500 capacity, The Attic provides a home to local talent and a great place for touring bands to perform. Supporting local music you can expect local bands on stage at least two nights a week while the space is occupied with DJ’s, performers and every form of music the other five nights.

There is a purpose built stage with full backline, lighting system and 32 channel digital mixing desk.

Opening times and prices 2010/2011

Non-student guests must still be signed in by a Kent student – one guest per student. Students from other Universities do not need to be signed in, but must have a valid student card and another form of proof of age ID. All non-studnts must be signed in before 11pm.

Refunds

Please note that tickets purchased online prior to an event are non-refundable, unless the circumstances are deemed exceptional by Kent Union’s Licensed Trade Manager. The Attic Management reserve the right to refuse entry to ticket holders upon arrival if the Attic’s entry policy is not adhered to.

Cloakroom and Lost Property

The Attic offers a cloakroom facility.

The cloakroom is set at £1.00 per item and extra items such as umbrellas, cardigans and bags must be paid for separately.

CLOAKROOM POLICY

The Venue will not accept any liability for any items lost or damaged after they have been handed into the cloakroom or to security at the front doors. All Staff take great care when handling property to ensure that damage and loss does not occur. However, in the event of damage or loss, The Venue is not liable whatsoever and will not pay any compensation or replace the item.

Any property lost or damaged that has not been handed into the cloakroom is the responsibility of the owner and The Venue is not liable whatsoever for any loss or damage that occurs from property lost on the premises.
