The Venue
The Summer of 2010 saw The Venue undergo a complete transformation. After ten years of entertaining students at The University Of Kent, 2010 saw us close our doors and prepare to offer something completely new and exciting - ready for September and a brand new year. Twelve months have passed and a few minor changes have been made in preparation for you all in 2011 as The Venue continues to provide Kent Students with excellent service and a wide range of entertianment.
We aim to make your time as a student here as enjoyable as possible, and we feel The Venue is a great place for you all to enjoy yourselves....all with the convenience of being located in the centre of campus!
2010 also saw the building divided into two outles for the first time, establishing 'The Attic' as a brand new live music bar and social space. In its first year of opening The Attic played host to a number of acts including Zane Lowe & Kissy Sell Out. 2011 looks set to be another exciting year for The Attic so please visit The Attic's web page.
The Venue has played host to a huge range of acts in the past including Zane Lowe, Ministry of Sound, 5ive, Nero, Vengaboys, Pendulum, Coolio, Reggie Yates, B*Witched, Edith Bowman, S Club, X Factor Stars & many many more.....with this year promising to be our best yet for entertainment.
