The Venue entry policy

I am a Kent student

 You will need your valid University of Kent student ID card to gain entry to The Venue. Last entry to The Venue is 00.30

I am a student, but not at Kent.

You will need your student card plus a valid form of government approved photographic ID (passport, drivers license. Last entry to The Venue is 00.30.

I am an Alumni (ex Kent student).

You need to bring your expired Kent Student Card and a form of government approved photographic ID (passport, drivers license). If you are unable to bring your expired student card, you must bring written proof that you were once a student at the University of Kent. Last entry to the Venue is 00.30.

I am not a student.

You must be accompanied by a University of Kent student.

You will need a valid form of government approved photographic ID (passport, drivers license). Last entry to The Venue is 11pm.

I’d like to bring a guest.

University of Kent students may bring one guest each. There are only 50 guest spaces in The Venue & these operate on a first come, first served basis.

You are responsible for this guest for the entirety of your stay.

Your guest must ‘sign your guest in’ between 9pm and 11pm. Once signed in, you must stay in The Venue.

If your guest is a student at another University, you do not need to sign your guest in.

Please have your identification ready when you reach the front door.

Kent Union promotes responsible drinking; if you are too over intoxicated upon arrival – you will not be granted entry to the club. This decision will be made by the Manager.

The Venue Management have the right to refuse entry at any given time.

Refunds

Please note that tickets purchased online prior to an event are non-refundable, unless the circumstances are deemed exceptional by Kent Union’s Licensed Trade Manager. The Venue Management reserve the right to refuse entry to ticket holders upon arrival if the Venue’s entry policy is not adhered to
