Amnesty International
We are a society of Students who want to stand up for human rights internationally. Our purpose is to protect where ever justice, fairness and freedom are denied. We believe that individuals working together all over the world can bring about real change. We dont support or oppose any government or political system and we work for victims of human rights abuse everywhere.
You can get involved by participating in our greeting cards campaign and sending letters of hope. We also have human rights films showcased and we put on plays in which anyone can participate in.
Meetings
6pm Thursdays in the Peter Bird room in Eliot.
