The Business Society
The business society is open to all students regardless if they are not studying a business type degree. What we try to do is to put workshops and master classes from business owners and major corporations, in order to encourage students to start thinking about their future post university. Bridging the gap between employers and students we believe that making that connection early could prove to be beneficial in the long run. We aim to run workshops on a monthly basis. We aim to start getting students to think in an enterprising manner, we believe university is a good time to bring forth business ideas and we want to encourage students to network with each other to maybe five years from now create the next Sony, Tesco or Virgin.
This year we hope to host an entrepreneur competition; this is one of the many ways students could get involved in the Business Society
