Chess Society

UKC Chess Society!
 Our Society appeals to all UKC Students wanting to play Chess on either a personal social level, or want to play more serious players. We cover all abilities of Chess players, to very beginner to experienced club and county level. It has a friendly, social approach to all of its meetings and its members.

We have a web-site at http://ukcchess.wikispaces.com which is fully functional and more details can be found at that link.
We meet on Tuesday evenings (from 6pm to 8pm) and Thursday evenings (from 6pm to 10pm), in RLT2 term-time. You can come and go as you please.
We have many Tournaments and many prizes to be won. We play to hold two separate tournaments in the two separate terms to decide a UKC Chess Champion of the Year. All the membership fee is for this is £5!
