Film Society
As one of the biggest societies on campus, the Film Society offers a number of activities. Each term the society produces its own magazine, Big Lens, which members are free to contribute towards. In addition to this, members are encouraged to get involved in our weekly radio show with opportunities to join the regular presenters on air during certain weeks. The Film Society offers a number of film-making events and equipment which members are highly encouraged to take advantage of. In addition to this, private screenings of films, free to all society members, are held each week as well as regular social events and screenings of our films. Want to make a short film but don't know where to start? Take away our camera, boom, editing suite, let us help you look for cast and crew, then have it screened to a big audience all via the Film Society!
