Thinking of starting a Society?
If you have a unique idea, or even a hobby that isn't catered for already, then why not start your own society?
All you have to do is fill in this form along with a constitution and email it to union-activities@kent.ac.uk
After that the paperwork will be taken to Societies Federation Committee. Please be prepared to answer any questions, if your society is similar to that of another society or organisation on Campus (i.e. The Chaplaincy) They will then decide if you can be raitifed under Kent Unions Consitution. Once a decision has been made you will be emailed the outcome.
To complete the ratification process you will need to attend Societies Federation, where they will raise any issue with your society. All societies are consitutionally bound to attend this meeting.
If you have been ratified then all you need to do is get twenty paid up members to access your funding.
