Societies recieve funding in two main ways, the money you recieve directly from your members, and the grant given to you from Kent Union.
All societies apply for funding in March for the First Term and then in November for the Second and Third Term inclusively. To download a budget application form please click here
Cash Office
To access your Budget, one of your selected members must go to the Locke Building and fill in a Cash Request Form. This must be authorised by Kirsty Sutton, Student Activities Manager. You can take out a maximum of £100 per day. All change and receipts MUST be returned within 7 DAYS or your account will be frozen.
If you spend your own money on the Society without seeking Authorisation from either Kirsty or Caz, then Kent Union will not reimburse you.
To access more than £100 of your budget or to use Kent Union's credit card you must email Kirsty Sutton on K.Sutton@kent.ac.uk.
