The American Society is not just for American Studies students or those from America studying in the UK, but for all students. We want to bring the “real” American culture to Kent Uni through events such as a Thanksgiving dinner, film nights, quiz nights, and by celebrating other traditional American events.
We are also a place where those students about to go on their year abroad to America, be it through American Studies or another degree course, can come together to find out more about their school choices and to hear from those who have gone before them and maybe even people from the local areas.
