Fairy Society 
Fairy Society is not just for fairies, we welcome elves, pixies, sprites, wizards and mythical creatures of all sorts - girls and boys alike (we have quite a few male members!).  So if you don't fancy wearing a tutu, we don't mind!
It is a society which gives people a chance to unwind and take a step back from the hectic and demanding schedule of university life - no thinking or strenuous physical activity is necessary!  Our only aim is to make sure everyone enjoys themselves.
Even though we are a new society, only starting in September 2006 we have already held many successful evenings, including: a wings and wand making workshop, several bar crawls, film showings, a fun and games night and so on - and whatever we do, it's a good excuse to get your best fancy dress on and be as extravagant as you dare.
We've got big plans for the society next year, and while the sun is still shining we're hoping to hold a pixie picnic, full of tricksters, musicians, pie and punch!  And of course a large amount of glitter!
 Fairy Society will hold a regular social meeting every two weeks starting in September 2007, these will be for general socializing, ideas, games, films and nibbles.  In addition about once a month there will be a 'fairy event', these will be our most spectacular shenanigans, and we hope to get the fairies moving around off campus into new strange and wonderful places, like the enchanted forest of Blean.
 ...all you have to do is spread your wings, and let the fairy in you fly!
