Indian Society
The aim of the UKC Indian Society is to celebrate India and its diversity. UKC attracts many Indian students and students of Indian origin, we strongly feel the need to have a society that can bring together not only Indian students and students of Indian origin, but anyone who wishes to know more about India.
We wish to celebrate the Indian culture in an all- embracing fashion - cutting across barriers based on sects, religion and nationalities. Our activities are centered around promoting Indian culture (music, food, festivals) and contemporary intellectual thought through organising a range of talks and debates.
So if your of Indian background or not, or if you want to share in the culture of India, please join today we look forward to meeting you. This is the first Indian Society at UKC so please join in and put your ideas forward. Help us show the tastes, sounds and diversity of India to all of the community!
