Kent Student Law Society

 

We are the only society on campus for students looking towards a career in law - primarily as a solicitor - or who are as of yet undecided which career path (be it a lawyer or otherwise) they wish to take. Our main aim therefore is to provide you with all the information you might need to make a well balanced career decision and the support to make it happen.
 
We are a social society – here to provide you with socials in town, trips to Alton Towers, ski trips and much more. Forget the idea of a bunch of people sitting around drinking tea and talking about law! But we’re not just for law students – bring your friends and housemates along. You could make back your £5 on one social with our promos!
 
But for those of you that are law students, this society is representative of how proud we are studying law at Kent. We’re the society for every one of you, regardless of what you want to do after Uni.
 
We put on CV and interview workshops and get recruiters from the top firms in London down to tell you how best to sell yourself on an application form. We also host one of the biggest open Law Fairs in the south with 30 different organisation represented, and host the Annual Dinner in February where you can wine and dine with legal professionals.
