Kent Comedy Society (Or Light Student Drama/LSD) is a group dedicated to creating and performing original comedy. We offer a forum for showcasing new work, and arrange venues for shows, films and gigs, providing equipment for you to create your own comedy film or group.
 
The society will be running short lectures throughout the year to improve on your technique or to interest you in new avenues previously unexplored.
 
We have already run (with sell-out success) a 5-man comedy sketch group, and are investigating all genres of comedy, including plays, radio and stand-up. We are hoping to take a show to next year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
 
All this, for only £3 (the minimum cost), and no additional charges!
