Socialist Students
Socialist Students is a political society that meets on a weekly basis. It is democratic in structure and holds open debates and discussions with guest speakers. Topics include socialist ideology and theory, political activism and current affairs. Socialist students encourage campaigning on important issues such as the Campaign to Defeat Fees, homelessness in Canterbury and other issues. We also act as a social hub, organising social events such as film nights and evenings out in Canterbury.
Ultimately at Socialist Students our aim is to raise awareness among our fellow students of the issues that affect society and the wider world.
