UoK First Aid Society

As a society we provide first aid training, starting with a basic qualification, after which you can progress onto more advanced courses. All our training is free of charge, and is currently provided by qualified British Red Cross First Aid Trainers. Once qualified, we provide the opportunity to volunteer as a first aider to practice the skills you have learnt. This volunteering can be done in a number of ways, both through the Red Cross, which offers a number of volunteering opportunities, or the society as a ‘stand alone’ group. It might sound like a ‘serious society’, but we have a lot of fun too, and everyone tends to get to know each other pretty quickly. We meet on a Thursday at 7pm in KLT4.
