Investors in Volunteers
Kent Union are mighty proud of the fact that we were the first Student Union in the country to receive the highly sought after Investors in Volunteers status way back in January 2007.
IIV is a quality mark that means that you know that the service we run for student volunteers, whether you are on a committee for a sports club or a society, on the radio or in the local community, you are receiving the best possible volunteering experience, care and attention that we can offer.
IIV accreditation was the culmination of years of hard work, and we were vigourously assessed against key indicators.
Having said that, IIV status doesn't mean we can slack off now! So we want you to continuously tell us your ideas for improvement, no matter how big, or small, you think that change might be! Only you know what can make your student experience the best in the world, so tell us! And as we are probably due for reassessment soon, you can start the process early!
