Charity Shops
All charity shops are located in Canterbury. Some require Application Forms to be completed, while others require an informal interview. For more information, contact information or an application form, please visit the Student Activities Centre above Essentials.
Canterbury Book Palace (Scrine Foundation) - The Book Palace is a charity book shop which helps to fund the work of Canterbury Open Centre for the homeless. Volunteers are needed to work in the shop a few hours a week, and to help sort out incoming books.
Children's Society Charity Shop - The Children's Society is driven by the belief that every child deserves a good childhood. There are looking for volunteers in all areas, but especially to refurbish the shop at the moment, a great opportunity for budding interior designers!
The Hospice Shop - Run by Pilgrims, an organisation that provides support to the terminally ill and their friends and families.
Oxfam - Oxfam runs two charity shops in Canterbury.
RSPCA Charity Shop - The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Shelter Charity Shop- Shelter is a charity that raises money for homeless people to provide food and shelter, and to campaign on their behalf. They have a charity shop which is staffed by volunteers of all ages and they currently need more help.
