This campaign is aimed at getting Wednesdays after 1pm free from timetabled lessons so that both undergraduates and postgraduates can take part in extracurricular activities such as sports and societies and honour the policy the university already have with us.

What have we done so far?

So far undergraduates have a policy in place so that lessons cannot be timetabled after 1pm but there are some lessons that have been so we are currently re-affirming the university's policy and also trying to get these lessons moved. As for postgraduates the taught sector has been able to be reorganised so that many more students have free Wednesdays but we are now trying to assess the feasibility of lab based taught postgraduates (PGTs) and research postgraduates (PGRs) to see whether free Wednesdays is wanted or even possible.
