Vote for Students

You can vote in Canterbury AND in your home town on May 5th but only if you're registered!

Polling stations will be open from 7am - 10pm on Thursday 5th May.

If you live on-campus the University have kindly registered you to vote, just head to the Senate on polling day to cast your vote. To find out more about the candidates for your ward (Blean Forest) click here.

If you live off-campus you can check if you're already registered at Mandela Reception or by calling 01227 862 007. You should have had a poll card through your door telling you where to vote. If you don't know where to vote call the Council on 01227 862 007.

All UK, EU and Commonwealth students can vote.

The deadline to register to vote has now passed, as has the deadline to apply for postal and proxy votes.

You can find out who the candidates are on Canterbury City Council's election pages, and you should have started to receive materials from the various political parties through your door.
