  • Committee’s purpose
Committee members shall be there to voice to Kent Union what entertainment students would like put on in Union run venues and events. Committee members will be asked to do research into what students want and feed results back to the committee. The Committee shall have a say in which artists are booked for the Venue, Attic and Summer Ball. Members of the committee shall be informed on the results of booking attempts so they can feedback to Union members as to why bookings have been successful or not.
 
The Committee shall be given information and results on past events so that they can see what works and what doesn’t and then make reasonable decisions based on the outcome. Members are free to do their own research into costs, acts, etc if they so wish as long as do so independently and not using the Union or Venue’s name in doing so.
 
Members
All members of the committee must be democratically elected during the last term of the academic year and must be a current student during their term on the committee.
