Candidate Bootcamp

Welcome to the Leadership Elections 2017 Candidate Bootcamp. Here you will find lots of resources that will help you run a successful election campaign – we have arranged the training resources into three modules:

Your Election Campaign Public
Speaking
Your
Manifesto

Elections Briefing - Tuesday 21st February, GLT3, 18.00-20.00. All candidates must attend

This session is compulsory for all candidates. In this session your Returning Officer and Deputy Returning Officer will explain the election rules, highlight key information for candidates and be on hand to answer any questions that you might have about the elections process.

Staff Speed Meet

The Leadership Elections Speed-Meet enables you the candidates to talk with Kent Union staff, to develop your manifesto points and help answer any questions you may have about the Union or sabbatical roles. Candidates will have 5 minutes to speak to each key member of staff that they will work with if elected. So bring along your manifesto ideas to discuss and gain feedback on!
