Health

If you have to pay for prescriptions, sight tests or NHS dental treatment you may be eligible for help with the costs thought the NHS Low Income Scheme.

To find out if you are eligible, you need to fill in a HC1 form.

Support Services

Support services that are available to you include:

University Medical Centre

Disability and Dyslexia Support Service (This service also deals with mental health matters)

Turning Point Drug and Alcohol Support

University Nursing Services

Nurses are on duty in Nursing Services during term time. There is a walk-in service from 7 am to midnight, and an emergency only scheme after midnight (via Campus Watch). When Nursing Services is not available the Medical Centre or on-call doctor should be contacted.
